Accessibility Statement
KST Institute is committed to making its website accessible, in line with EU Directive 2016/2102, EN 301 549 and WCAG 2.1.
Conformance target
The Institute targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the site, with a best-effort commitment to Level AAA where technically achievable. AAA is not fully achievable across every success criterion; where criteria are not met, the gap is documented and remediated on a planned basis.
Measures taken
- Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks
- Skip-to-content links on every page
- Keyboard navigation with visible focus states
- Descriptive alt text on informational images
- High-contrast palette meeting AA / AAA ratios
- Responsive layout scaling up to 200% without loss of function
- Language attribute declared at document level
Known limitations
At the time of publication, the Institute identifies the following areas of ongoing remediation:
- Some third-party embeds may not meet full AAA conformance
- Video captions and transcripts are being rolled out across archived content
- Dyslexia-friendly and high-contrast toggle features are in development

Independent audit
The Institute commissions an annual independent accessibility audit. Summary findings and remediation plans are published in the Institute's annual integrated report.
