Supplier Code of Conduct
The standards of behaviour the Institute expects from its suppliers, subcontractors and business partners.
Scope
This Code applies to all suppliers, subcontractors, consultants and partners (together, "Suppliers") providing goods or services to the Institute or acting on its behalf.
Legal and regulatory compliance
Suppliers comply with all applicable laws and regulations in every jurisdiction in which they operate, including those relating to labour, health and safety, environmental protection, data protection, sanctions, export controls and taxation.
Business integrity
- Zero tolerance for bribery, corruption and facilitation payments
- Fair competition and anti-trust compliance
- Truthful business dealings and accurate records
- Identification and management of conflicts of interest
Human rights and labour
- No modern slavery, forced labour, child labour or human trafficking
- Compliance with working hours, wages and leave requirements
- Freedom of association and collective bargaining
- Non-discrimination and zero tolerance for harassment
- Safe and healthy working conditions
Environment and ESG
- Environmental licences and permits held and observed
- Resource efficiency, waste minimisation and pollution prevention
- Climate-conscious operations consistent with the EU Green Deal
Information and data protection
Suppliers protect the Institute's and third-party confidential information, and comply with GDPR and equivalent national legislation where personal data is processed.
Subcontracting
Suppliers flow down these requirements to their own subcontractors and monitor compliance at least through contractual terms and risk-based due diligence.
Breach and remediation
Material breach of this Code is grounds for corrective action or termination. Suspected breaches can be reported through the Whistleblowing Channel.
