Commitment

The Institute respects human rights in line with the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the ILO Core Labour Conventions and the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights. The Institute prohibits modern slavery, forced labour, child labour and human trafficking in any form.

Own operations

  • Contractual labour terms compliant with local labour law and ILO minima
  • No withholding of identity documents or wages
  • Freedom of association and collective bargaining
  • Safe working conditions aligned to ISO 45001 principles
  • Grievance channels available to all personnel

Supply chain

Suppliers are required to comply with the Institute's Supplier Code of Conduct, including specific obligations on human rights and labour. Risk-based due diligence is applied to higher-risk supply chains, and material violations lead to corrective action or termination.

Training

All personnel receive onboarding and periodic training on human rights and modern slavery risk recognition.

Reporting

Any concern can be reported through the Whistleblowing Channel. Reports are handled confidentially and without retaliation.
